The South African Youth League and United Humanitarians (SAYLUH) is a registered non-profit organisation founded in 2017 that puts empowerment and community development at the heart of responding to injustices in communities.
Our core values are concerned with community engagement, developing appropriate and sustainable solutions to identified needs, and implementing sustainable projects to improve the circumstances for people in marginalised communities.
- Youth development initiatives are essential in helping youth succeed in life, particularly in developing countries like South Africa.
- Youth unemployment affects not only the youth themselves but has a ripple effect on those around them. Including their families and communities.
- The key to addressing the challenges faced by the youth is in skills development an positive youth development programmes.
A country UNITED where ALL marginalised communities are empowered and become a part of their own development, and thus contribute to influencing positive change to governmental structures and economic growth that will equally benefit ALL its citizens.
Youth development in developing countries is an important topic to focus on. Youth unemployment affects everyone, everywhere. In the end, skills development benefits us all. Our positive youth development programme is a framework that guides communities in the way they organize services, opportunities, and support so that young people can develop to their full potential.
Education is vital to happiness and prosperity. Life challenges can be daunting and through educating the youth we provide them with the necessary tools to take on these challenges with courage and integrity. Instilling in our youth that education has the power to change lives for the better.
The integration of crime prevention and criminal justice into all levels of education is essential in building long-term approaches to countering crime and violence. It is also critical in ensuring that the rule of law is respected from an early age in order to build a safe and prosperous society for all, thus promoting sustainable development.
We aim to instill in our charges that equality between women and men exist only when both sexes are capable of sharing mutually in the distribution of influence and power; have equal opportunities for monetary freedom through formation of businesses or work; enjoy equal and easy access to education and the prospects to develop own personal goals.
There’s nothing more important than our good health – that’s our principal capital asset.
Make a difference to someone's life and be the driving force toward a better future.
Any donations, including your time, are most welcome and greatly appreciated.
